I was about to place an order on Tr-State Camera, Video and Computers, and to be fair, the item price looked reasonable, which was a nice surprise. Then I got to checkout and the shipping cost suddenly made the whole thing feel kind of silly.
For such a small item, paying that much just to have it shipped didn’t sit right with me. I’m sure they’ve got some good deals if you don’t mind getting ambushed at the end, but I ended up closing the tab instead of buying.

"Good stuff, but checkout was frustrating"
I liked the product selection and the site was easy to browse, but the checkout experience was really annoying. I tried paying twice and both times it just froze with no explanation, so I ended up giving up.
"Confirmation email felt confusing to me"
In my experience, the order confirmation email was unclear. I placed my order, but the email didn’t lay out the details in a way that was easy for me to understand, so I wasn’t fully sure everything had gone through correctly. I ended up checking back and second-guessing it instead of just feeling confident that my order was set. For something that should be simple, it was kind of annoying
"Used condition felt misleading"
I bought a used camera that was listed as being in great shape, but when it showed up, it definitely had more wear than I expected... plus a few marks that weren’t shown in the photos. Maybe I just got unlucky? But the grading didn’t really match what I received. I don’t think I’d buy used from them again.

"Not really worth it, honestly"
I’m trying to be calm about it, but yeah, I definitely expected more for what I paid. The price seemed fine at first, then the fees and shipping kicked in, and by the end it didn’t feel like a good deal at all. Customer service wasn’t really helpful either, which was super fun in the most not-fun way. I probably should’ve just bought it somewhere else and saved myself the hassle. Not worth the money for me.

I tried shopping on tristatecamera.com, and wow, the site felt really outdated and clunky?! Pages were loading slowly for me, and a couple of the filters didn’t seem to do what they were supposed to do.
I kept having to go back and search again because the product pages were confusing. Even adding something to the cart felt awkward, like I wasn’t totally sure whether the item actually went in or not.
The store itself might be totally fine, but the website made the whole thing frustrating enough that I gave up. Not really the online shopping experience I was hoping for

"Still waiting and getting nowhere with support"
I’m still waiting on my order and it’s been frustrating. It took forever to even ship, and then I went days with no updates at all. I tried reaching out to support, but I just keep getting bounced around in the same loop without any real answer. At this point I just want to know where my order is.

"Tracking was really not helpful"
I ordered from tristatecamera.com the tracking info was really useless. It barely updated, so I had no real idea where my package was or when it was actually going to show up. I kept checking it, but it was just the same vague status over and over. For an online order, I really expected better. Definitely frustrating.

"Shipping Took Forever"
I ordered from Tr-State Camera, Video and Computers because I needed the item that week, which apparently was wildly optimistic of me. The shipping was painfully slow, and the tracking updates were basically just there for decoration. It finally showed up way later than expected. The product itself was fine, but the wait was frustrating enough that I definitely wouldn’t order from here again if I needed anything quickly.

I reached out with what I thought was a basic question, but the replies were short and didn’t really answer anything. I’m not expecting miracles, just a clear response and a little effort, you know? Didn’t feel like I got much help at all.

"Checkout Fees Ruined It for Me"
I was ready to place my order because the price seemed reasonable at first, but then a bunch of extra fees showed up right at checkout. That really rubbed me the wrong way and made the whole thing feel kind of shady. By the time everything was added, it cost more than I expected, that’s the part I remember most. If they’d shown the real total upfront, I probably would’ve just gone somewhere else.

"The camera itself seems to work..."
The camera itself seems to work fine so far, and I was able to test it out on my kitchen table right after dinner. But the packaging was disappointing. It showed up in this thin little box with barely any padding, and a couple of the corners were crushed when I opened it. Stuff inside was sliding around like it had just been tossed in there. For something this expensive, I expected it to be packed way better. It felt kind of lazy and cheap, which was frustrating...

"Battery grip didn’t fit, support wasn’t much help"
I ordered a battery grip because the product page said it was compatible with my Canon model. When it arrived, the pins didn’t line up at all, so the camera wouldn’t even power on with it attached. I tried reseating it a couple times, thinking maybe I was missing something, but no...
I contacted support and basically got a “check your model” response, which was frustrating because that’s exactly what I had already done before buying it. Then I had to pay return shipping too, so overall just a really annoying experience. Probably won’t buy accessories from them again...

My order total and the amount I was charged didn’t match, so I had to reach out to support to get it fixed. It was handled eventually, but... the whole thing just felt a bit sloppy and made the order way more stressful than it needed to be.

"Prices weren’t exactly a steal"
I’m not saying the site is bad or anything, but the prices were higher than I expected. I found the same camera cheaper at two other stores, so I didn’t end up ordering. The site itself was fine enough, I just don’t think the deals were that great.
